This is a process evaluation report on the creative district development of the old district in Sakon Nakhon in Northeastern Thailand. The development project is spearheaded by the Creative Economy Agency, which is tasked to promote and develop Thailand's creative economy. One of its main approaches to operationalising its strategic objectives, which in this case is the creative placemaking agenda, is through the creation of event that will highlight and showcase the cultural and creative assets of the district beign developed. For the old town district in Sakon Nakhon, the event is called Sakon Junction. This report utilises the logic model for its process evaluation framework. It aims to identify the full development process from planning to implementation to community reception. It uncovers the blind spots in the creative district development process and indicates the areas of improvement to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of its implementation
