2. Reference Service
In order to promote and support the use of Information Technology and to maximise its benefits for members, the Centre has provided reference searching services to assist in recommending and finding sources of information. Services are available through the following channels.

3. Computer for searching information
To increase the efficiency of information searching on the Internet within the Centre for members, computer facilities are available at various locations such as Search Point and reading areas. Both MS Windows and Macintosh are available.

4. Multimedia Service
Movies and valuable documentary films from all over the world have been selected and provided in DVD for members. Members can choose to view them at the cinema theatre or using computers in the Center. Advance booking and selection of films can be made at the Media Service Counter.

TCDC Resource Center provides Reading Room Service for meetings or conferences to members in group:- 2 people upwards for Platinum and Silver members and 3 people upwards for Premium members within the time limit.

6. Reproduction Service
TCDC Resource Centre has no lending services due to Reference Library Management Policy but provides reproduction services with the following charges

8 baht / page for members and 12 baht / page for non-member ( not larger than an A3 size)
2 times of the photocopying fee
10 baht each
7. E-News letter
When you register as members of TCDC, you will receive regular updated newsletters and information on training and seminar courses as well as various services through e-mails. All you have to do is just to register the email address in the system.
8. Member’s Comments and Book Reviews
TCDC welcomes recommendations, comments from members on services and book purchases. Recommendation forms are available from the service counter.
9. Bookmark System
“Bookmark System” helps you to find your last reading paragraph. Just bring your TCDC membership card to pick up a bookmark from the staff, place the bookmark in your reading book at the required page and place the book at the book bin, you will be able to check the book list and the page number of your last reading page by connecting to http://library.tcdc.or.th/member
10. Quicktionary and Talking Dict
“Quicktionary” is a pen dictionary that translates English into English and translates English into Thai. Just use Quicktionary to scan the word to be translated. It helps you to enjoy reading and save time from looking-up vocabulary from a thick dictionary. Contact Media Service Counter for service.
11. Wireless Internet
Members who bring your own laptop are able to connect to the internet system by registering with Info Guru Counter.

Silver and Platinum members are able to access to print and multimedia materials which are being cataloged and not yet displayed on bookshelves.

13. The Member Lounge
This is the place for excellent and rare design book collections with refreshment served. There are three laptops available for use within the lounge.
For Silver and Platinum members, please book for the service at least 2 hours in advance. For Premium members, please contact Info Guru counter to request for these book collections
14. Preparing Information via Phone
To provide convenience and time-saving, silver and platinum members may advise the Center’s staff of the required information in details by telephone in advance so documents can be gathered and are ready when the members arrive.
15. Online Registration
Interested persons can conveniently register as members through on-line registration service either from home or from work by accessing http://member.tcdc.or.th. Just fill in required details and the system will give a reference number. Bring this reference number to the Info Guru Counter at the Center for payment of membership fee, takes a photo and receive the membership card.
16. One Day Pass and TCDC Tourist Pass
- One Day Pass is a service for the general public who wish to use the library for a day without registering as a member. Just present your ID Card or a passport at the Info Guru Counter with no extra charge.
- TCDC Tourist Pass is a service for foreign tourists who wish to temporarily use the library. The Pass is valid for a period of 10 consecutive days and is available from the Information Service Counter at the price of 200 Baht each.
17. Trend Book
Books on Art and Design that are anticipated to be in future trend are available for members to study and inspire creative designs that will be useful for businesses such as fashion, textile, household decorations and colour shades. TCDC Resource Centre provides the following types of Trend Books:

18. Message Board Wallpaper
TCDC provides facility for members to communicate with one another by posting newsletter, announcements or any information.
19. New Arrival
Newly arrived books available for reading are displayed on the first bookshelf near the entrance.
20. Books related to TCDC exhibition
This is the corner that provides various types of books available in TCDC Resource Center that are related to the Exhibitions in Exhibition Room 2 or books of interests. They are placed on bookshelf close to the Magazine Corner.
21. Mini Exhibition
This is the corner that provides various types of books available in TCDC Resource Centre that are related to the Exhibitions in Gallery 2 or books of interests. They are displayed on bookshelf close to the Magazine Corner.
22. Shelves Browser
Shelves Browser service provides handy assistance to members for book searches by use of a total of 6 Touch Screens. This service gives users an overall view of a particular book cabinet from the unreachable top shelf to the lowest shelf. The user will see all books on the entire cabinet and can view details of each book using this programme.
23. Quick guide on Information Searching
In order to provide assistance and support to members and users in searching for books or any sources of information technology for education and research, there are instructions and orientation courses on information searching techniques for using the on-line information database system provided by the TCDC Resource Centre for members and users.
24. Library Tour Services
There are guided tour services to the TCDC Resource Centre and the Material ConneXion® Bangkok, video shows introducing various services of TCDC, explaining different types of memberships. These tours are for the general public, admission free.
The tour services are scheduled twice a day on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. There must be a minimum of 5 people in a group.

25. Library Orientation Services
This service provides in-depth detailed information on various facilities, rules and regulations of TCDC Resource Center to members to enable them to maximise their utilisation of TCDC’s facilities.
The services are available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays during 10.45 – 11.45hrs.
There must be a minimum of 5 people in a group.
26. Past seminars arranged by TCDC recorded on iPod
Copies of seminars and conferences which are arranged by TCDC are recorded on iPod for interested members and for those who missed the events so they can be viewed afterwards. For further enquiries and placing requests, please contact the Media Services Counter.
27. Ask me! Service
The service provides responses to inquiries and assistance in information searching through an easy on-line enquiry system via computer network using MSN to facilitate convenience and time-saving for members. Just add email@example.com in the MSN. For further information, contact TCDC Resource Centre staff at anytime during office hours.

28. Design Consulting Service
Design experts are available for meeting in person and design consulting with each member directly for 30 minutes per appointment. For additional and booking appointment, contact Info Guru Counter every Tuesday to Sunday during 10.30 – 20.30 or Telephone 02 664 8448 extension 215, 216.
Tag is like a keyword or category label. Tags help you find books which have something in common. You can assign as many tags as you wish to each book by write down the words on the web or in Tag it form and insert it into the book and place it in the book bin. Just like this you can make our searching system getting better.
30. Enhanced Search Point
To help you manage or check your account information, TCDC Resource Center provides search point for you are able to check and point your information on One Day Pass service, your membership expirey date and bookmark information.
